Welcome to 2017

Tue 03 Jan 2017

I think I can speak for many of us when I say that 2016 was a pretty mixed sort of year, but it finished well for us with a flurry of activity, and a very successful Christmas Charity Appeal.  Our chosen charities of Bournemouth Foodbank, Dawg Dorset Dog Rescue and Puurfect Paws Cat Rescue benefitted from the generosity of our clients and friends – with a mass of food and other treats being handed over just before Christmas.

One very noticeable trend in 2016 was the increasing number of online only estate agents, but we are very proud to maintain the high street presence we have built up in 26 years from our office in Charminster Road.  So many people, whether sellers, buyers, or just those thinking about a move, call in for chat and it is gratifying that so many comment on what a nice relaxing atmosphere there is in our office.

Offering a very high level of service is so important to us, and from all we hear, a similar level is not available with many other agents, especially the online only ones.  We will continue with our ‘no sale’ no fee’ policy, so no upfront commission payment for our sellers.  There are no extra fees for photography, floorplans, conducting viewings, negotiating or liaising with all concerned to hasten progress when a sale is agreed either, that all comes as part of our standard full service package.

We have always felt that our past clients are our best advert and the last testimonial we received just before Christmas sums up what we aim to achieve perfectly " The whole experience of dealing with Paul Watts was excellent from start to finish, nothing was to much trouble for them, and they went beyond the call of duty to make everything as simple and easy in selling the property possible so thanks, Barry"

Let me finish by saying that the whole team wish you all a very successful 2017, and hope that we can take part in that for many of you by assisting with your home move.  Penny, Leigh, Karen and myself look forward to meeting lots of new clients in the coming months.

Best wishes

Margaret
