Great time to sell a Queens Park family home

Mon 11 Jul 2016

If you are thinking of selling a large family home in the lovely tree-lined Queens Park area of Bournemouth, now could be a great time to do so.

We are currently finding there is strong interest in this type of property from waiting buyers.  This area is particularly popular with families due to the excellent local schools available, both state and private.  We have noticed in recent years there is an ever increasing trend for buyers moving from the London area, and one of the key factors is the local schools.

Another factor is the great range of leisure opportunities we have available, from the open spaces of Queens Park itself, with golf course, popular Terrace café and adventure playground, various fitness centres such as David English and Littledown, and the tennis courts and play areas at Winton Recreation Ground off Charminster Road.

As local people know, Charminster Road is also well known for the variety of cafes and restaurants – it has been said you can eat your way around the world in Charminster, there are so many different cuisines available.

Excellent travel connections can be quite important such as the Wessex Way being an easy route out of town and providing a good route out of town and into Bournemouth Centre with its department stores and of course the fabulous gardens and beach.  There always seems to be something going on there with various festivals including the world renowned air festival in August, Wheels festive in May and Pride in July.  Bournemouth Railway Station/Bus Interchange is not too far away either.

We would love to hear from anyone thinking about selling their home.  Why not pop into the office, or make an appointment for a free valuation – we can then tell you all about our high levels of service and local knowledge, which we would love to use to help you make a move in 2016.
